وصل قيمة المستوردات عبر المؤءسسة العامة للتجارة الخارجية خلال النصف الاول من عام 2010 الى نحو 8 مليارات و847 مليون ليرة مقابل 9 مليارات و523 مليون ليرة في الفترة نفسها من عام 2009 . وتنوعت قائمة المستوردات ما بين مواد غذائية وادوية وآليات ومواد اخرى وتضمنت الرز والورق والادوية البشرية والزراعية والبيطرية والساعات وأفلام التصوير الشعاعي اضافة الى السيارات ومختلف انواع الاليات وقطع التبديل والمواد المعدنية مثل قساطل الفونت المرن الخاصة بشبكات المياه .
